Tania M. Martinez

Attorney Tania M. Martinez is a partner at Gomez & Martinez, LLC and a respected immigration attorney with over fifteen years of experience advocating for the rights and dignity of immigrant communities. As the daughter of Italian immigrants, Tania brings both professional insight and personal perspective to her work, making her a passionate and empathetic advocate for family unity and justice within the immigration system.

Tania focuses her practice on family-based immigration and deportation defense, representing individuals and families before the Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR), the Board of Immigration Appeals, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), and the National Visa Center. Her deep knowledge of immigration law and steadfast dedication to her clients have established her as a trusted legal voice across the region.

Tania earned her Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from the Massachusetts School of Law at Andover in 2009, and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Spanish, cum laude, from Assumption College (2006).

An active leader within the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), Tania currently serves as Chair of AILA New England for the 2025–2026 term, representing over 1,000 immigration attorneys across the region. She also serves on AILA National’s Board of Governors. 

Beyond her legal work, Tania actively supports her community through Know Your Rights seminars and citizenship clinics in Lawrence and nearby areas. She has also served on the board of Delamano, Inc., a non-profit focused on domestic violence prevention.

Tania is dedicated to ongoing education and community engagement. In 2025, she joined her alma mater, the Massachusetts School of Law, as an Adjunct Professor, where she teaches a course on Immigration Law and Practice.
